How do I read a FEC without accounting software?

Drop the file into TelaViewer: entries are shown in pages of 200 lines, with the trial balance, journals and checks. A one-million-line FEC opens in about two seconds.Pro

Can I turn a Sage, Quadra or EBP export into a FEC?

Yes. The FEC export writes the 18 mandatory columns, separated by tabs, and suggests the file name SirenFECAAAAMMJJ. The information filled in for the FEC is detailed on the export button.Pro

Do the checks replace Test Compta Demat?

They are meant for reading and auditing: overall and per-entry balance, numbering, dates, mandatory fields, consistency of matching (lettrage) and third parties. For a filing with the authorities, the DGFiP's Test Compta Demat tool (French tax administration) remains the reference.

Does my accounting data leave the computer?

No. Reading happens on your PC, with no connection, and the file is never modified.
